The 1936-1940 SS Jaguar 100 was the successor to the SS90 - a short-wheelbase two-seater car powered by standard 2664cc side valve six and based on SS I chassis engineering. Only 23 SS90s were built in 1935 The SS 100 maintained the basic 104-inch wheelbase platform, but built suspension valve engines directly from the SS Jaguar sedans.

The initial 2.5-liter version was complemented by a 3.5-liter unit in 1938. Although cramped even for two seats, the roadster's style was a sensation. The ride was difficult and the driving quite vague, but this was the most attractive car on British roads and an incredible cost / benefit ratio.

The larger engine model could do a genuine 100 mph and 0-60 in 10.4 seconds. It was possible to obtain even more energy through very simple adjustment adjustments. The SS Jaguar 100 was rare at the time - and even more scarce now. You will need a dollar pack to put one in your garage.
